The Mission

There are tiny organizations doing good work to help the poor in their communities. Their budgets are small. The help they provide is making vital changes in peoples’ lives. These good people are too busy doing their work to raise funds.

At the same time, there are good people who want to donate small amounts of money to the poor or who see useful things being thrown away. Too much of their small money gets lost in large, international organizations or they do not know who could use their unwanted items.

A Common Good joins small and fiscally efficient social-service projects in India, with small donors in other parts of the world, so that monetary and in-kind donations, in amounts that may be insignificant in the developed world, can have their greatest impact on the lives of the very poor. ACG ushers donations from donor to project at no cost to either party.
